Welcome to athletics at CVCA!
The CVCA Athletic Department's goal is to help athletes grow in Christ. Our vision is for coaches, athletes, fans, and parents to work together to pursue this growth. Because competition is a celebration for everyone where mutual respect is imperative, fans should support their teams, yet also recognize the effort and skills of opponents. Coaches are to train and mentor young athletes. Athletes are to be obedient, respectful, and hard-working. Parents are to be supportive and encouraging. As we each do our part, growth in Christ will be evident in CVCA athletics.
Athletics teaches us lessons for life as we enjoy the celebration of competition. The CVCA Athletic Department is thankful for life itself, for "new life" in Jesus Christ, and for victory beyond competition.
CVCA is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Principal's Athletic Conference (PAC) in both junior high and high school competition. Members of this league also include Manchester, Timken, Triway, Fairless, Tusky Valley, and Tuslaw. The following teams will continue to compete in their respective conferences: girls' tennis in the NEOTA, boys' and girls' soccer in the Tri-County Soccer League, ice hockey in the Greater Cleveland Hockey League, and junior high soccer teams in the Western Reserve Conference.
