As a friend of CVCA, you need to know that every year we strive to create an environment within this school that enables God to transform the hearts and lives of our students.
I graduated from CVCA in 2003 as a product of this wonderful school. From a rearview mirror perspective that is not so distant, I can truly say that the Lord transformed me through the people who entered my life here. After four years of college and two more years of life experience, God has brought me back to the place that He used to impact me – and countless other alumni. It is my hope that our students this year will be impacted through similar experiences of their own.
God is doing some exciting work at CVCA this year. As I write this, we have 844 students currently enrolled. When we hear from our friends at other fine institutions locally and around the country, we consider it purely divine intervention that our enrollment has held steady. Our current 9th grade class is the largest class in CVCA history with 182 students!
Our students responded to the call to minister locally as well as globally in the last year by partnering with organizations like “Feed My Starving Children” (ministering in Africa), and “WCRF Radio” to send backpacks to El Salvador. Our senior class returned from a “Meeting God in Missions” summer trip to the Dominican Republic with a desire to put their faith into practical action and provide student leadership on campus – yet another tool that God is using to transform lives!
Each year we send out a letter expressing our need to raise $180,000 for our Annual Fund. Fully understanding the economic climate in which we present this need, we have already been blessed this year in so many ways that we know God will continue to be faithful to provide for our needs. Those of you who will donate to the “Margin of Faith”/Annual Fund this year will do so because you truly believe that God is working through this school, and you would like to be a part of investing in what is happening here.
There has not been a year in recent history when your Annual Fund gift was needed more.
