BOYS & GIRLS SWIMMING
Congratulations to the boys and girls swim teams on a great season! Many of the CVCA swimmers qualified for the state meet in Canton. For the boys, John MacMillan qualified in the 100 yard backstroke. For the girls, Junior, Kelly Ormond qualified in the 50 yard and 100 yard freestyle and placed 14th @ the state meet in the 50. The 200 yard (Kaitlin Amicone, Laura Nice, Renee Ormond, and Kelly Ormond) and 400 yard (Kaitlin Amicone, Laura Nice, Sarah Wright, and Kelly Ormond) freestyle relay teams also qualified for the state meet. The 200 yard team placed 7th @ the state meet and the 400 yard team placed 16th.

The CVCA Royals wrestling team advanced 5 wrestlers to the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament at the Jerome Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University on March 4th-6th, 2010. The Lord blessed this year's team with one of the best finishes in school history. For only the second time in CVCA Wrestling history the Royals finished as State Runners-Up in Division III. All 5 wrestlers finished in the top 8 in each of their weight classes. 
The CVCA Ice Hockey Team had a tremendous season! They played in their first OHSAA tournament game on Tuesday, February 16 and came away with a 13-4 victory vs. Twinsburg High School. The next game would prove to be a tough one vs. defending state champion, University School. They were defeated 0-11.
