A. Generally, there is practice every night until 5:30, except for Wednesday nights, which will end at 5:00. There may be many Wednesdays without practice. Due to gym availability, there will be practice from 5:30-7:30 on certain weeks for basketball. B. Every athlete must turn in a completed physical form before he/she can participate in practices. Physical forms can be downloaded from the CVCA website or picked up in the athletic office. C. Transportation after school from practice may be arranged through car pools. Due to gym availability, some practices will take place at Hudson Community Chapel for basketball. Transportation to games is by CVCA vehicles only! D. CVCA is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Principals Athletic Conference (members are: Triway, Manchester, Fairless, Tuslaw, Tusky Valley, Canton Timken, Indian Valley). Jr. High soccer competes in the Western Reserve Athletic Conference. E. Others we compete against: Central Christian, Hudson, Kent Stanton, Stow Kimpton, University School, Hawken, Nordonia, Mogadore, Woodridge, Solon, Hudson. Twinsburg, Aurora, Ravenna, Mayfield and the schools in our league. F. There is a $100.00 fee to participate in Athletics. This fee covers all sports played during the school year regardless of the number of sports the athlete chooses to play.
